1. Overview
Baggo is a logistics coordination platform that connects tourists, drivers, porters, and partner locations to facilitate luggage delivery services across Sri Lanka.
By accessing or using Baggo's website, platform, or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
2. Service Description
Baggo provides:
- Luggage pickup and delivery coordination
- Hub-based luggage transfers
- Status updates through the Baggo dashboard
- Delivery confirmation notifications
Baggo may use verified drivers, porters, or partner locations to complete deliveries. Baggo acts as a coordination platform and may not directly employ all delivery personnel.
3. User Responsibilities
Users agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete booking details
- Ensure luggage is securely packed and properly labeled
- Provide correct pickup and drop-off information, including hotel, reception, or authorized recipient details
- Ensure an authorized person or designated location is available to receive the luggage
- Avoid sending prohibited items
Baggo is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or losses caused by incorrect information or unavailable recipients provided by the user.
Delivery is considered completed once the luggage is handed over to the designated hotel, partner location, reception desk, or authorized recipient specified in the booking.
4. Prohibited Items
The following items are strictly prohibited:
- Illegal substances
- Weapons of any kind
- Hazardous materials
- Flammable or explosive items
- Cash, high-value jewelry, or precious valuables
Important: Baggo reserves the right to inspect, refuse, or cancel any delivery suspected of containing prohibited items.
Baggo shall not be liable for loss or damage resulting from undeclared or prohibited items.
5. Delivery Process & Liability
- Delivery times are estimated and not guaranteed.
- Delays may occur due to traffic, weather conditions, route changes, or operational factors.
- Users must declare any high-value contents in advance (if permitted).
- Liability for loss or damage may be limited to a declared value cap or the service fee paid for the specific delivery.
- Any claims must be reported within 24 hours of delivery confirmation.
Insurance coverage, if offered, will follow the stated policy limits and conditions.
6. Payments
- Payment must be completed before or during service as specified.
- Pricing is based on route, distance, number of bags, and operational requirements.
- Additional charges may apply for oversized luggage or special handling.
- Refunds may be issued after internal review and approval by Baggo.
Baggo reserves the right to modify pricing at any time.
7. Cancellations & No-Shows
- Cancellations may be subject to a service fee depending on timing.
- Late cancellations or no-shows may result in partial or full charges.
- Refund eligibility is determined based on service stage at the time of cancellation.
8. Delivery Partner Conduct
Drivers, porters, and partner locations operate as independent contractors or authorized service partners. Baggo coordinates logistics but may not directly employ all field personnel.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Baggo shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Delays beyond reasonable control
- Loss resulting from prohibited or undeclared items
- Loss after confirmed handover to the designated recipient
Where liability applies, it may be limited to the service fee paid for the affected delivery.
10. Account Suspension or Termination
Baggo may suspend or terminate accounts for:
- Misuse of the platform
- Fraudulent activity
- Violation of these Terms & Conditions
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted under the laws of Sri Lanka.
